*Help ⚠ Got a spare $1?* Savin' to get a laptop (homejob). No opportunities outside due to constant lockdowns in our country. 😷 I'm not a bad person, just a desperate breadwinner. Lost a lot since 2020. So sorry about this. 🙏 *Prayers and well-wishes are also very much appreciated. 😇* Off-topic, I know... I hope you understand the desperation. I know some people need more help than me and my family but I do hope that does not invalidate my cry for help. 😔 Things are getting worse here. We don't have stimulus checks or anything like USA. So I'm just really doing whatever I can to put food on the table. We may not be killed by the virus but the situation is surely slowly killing us. 💔💔💔 *Peace be with you. GOD bless. 🙏❤* *And to anyone who's also struggling, let's hold on tight. All will soon be well. 🌹💌*

Obviously, its gonna be a couple more years before we can get to that due to obvious software glitches that come with rushing something (koff cyberpunk koff), but i will be glad when that can come out. Im definitely installing the ios 15 and macos monterey betas when they come out in july to test them out, but some of the available features… come on, these are multi-billion dollar - actually sorry, multi-trillion dollar - companies, i don’t think a couple million in software development will hurt them so that they can make mode and more new features quicker. Just sayin.

Adding some of this stuff that Google already has, is fine, but when their products get in the way almost daily with weird oversights, artificial limitations, etc. - it's incredibly frustrating to use at times. It's as if they are 1-2 ticks too much toward the form over function mentality.

Picture yourself in a war. Apple is the douche that waits at the far back, while everyone else fights at the frontline. And when Apple takes down the last standing enemy, it is said that they've perfected the art of war. Many yrs ago, when Nokia launched their wireless charging, I argued this with a good friend. Today, no doubt Apple offers wireless charging. Why? Allegedly Apple loves simplifying this and loves removing cables. But I wonder why no one cared to ask how come they didn't introduce wireless charging in the early days.

It doesn't take a genius to know that it's all about marketing tactics. New features sell. That's how apple & other companies makes money. They give hold back certain features so that it can be featured in the next line of phones. For example hz, battery, camera features, ios. Samsung gives 5000mah battery size while iphones battery size are lower. Then in the next line up they'll give more battery size so that customers are drawn to it. It all comes down to business tactics.

Apple has already herded all the sheeps. Their market share of sheeps are at 100%. The only way they can grow now is by stealing market share from competitors. A lot of these customers from android wont leave android because they know its better with all the customization and utility. They are now giving android users what they want a little at a time till they have all the functions of an android. Eventually there will be no reason to not switch to apple. It will be able to do what android does. There are still a lot of stuff Apple doesnt have but I'm sure they'll eventually added to steal more android marketshare.

So, I guess MKBHD is now openly becoming biased... What apple does has nothing to do with being late and innovative or big words like that. It's about marketing, they let other company do the experiment and monitor which product is actually penetrating the market properly, and then they'd just import that idea with keeping apple device compatibility in mind and those fanboy will start calling it innovation. Nope, that's called Improvement (for apple ecosystem), but not innovation. The last innovation apple did was Apple Silicon Chip which is to be honest one of the best thing done by any tech company ever. But please stop calling them innovative when they copy pastes Tile for finding things, make most of iOS 14 by copying Google, copying Samsung's S pen and few other flagship product. That's not innovation, refining something is not innovation, stop being a fanboy

Android is accessible to everyone. Tinkerers and communities like XDA share ideas and collaborate amongst each other. Not just developer to developer but developer to average Joe/Jane as well. To Google's credit, they sometimes bake those features into Android. Android isn't the same across all brands and so that's why the apps aren't as integrated as it is in a locked-down system like Apple's. If Apple was thinking of the same ideas as Android OS at "the same time" as you suggest, then they should be first to introduce these features because they control: the hardware, OS, entire ecosystem. Moving items from a Macbook to an iPad, Apple's latest and greatest feature that Logitech "has been doing" for some time.

Because of the question at the end: yes, Apple is „late“ with their stuff but I don’t really mind. I think it’s kind of like “what you don’t know you can’t miss”. So I’m always excited to have new features in the newest iOS but I am not going to switch to an android phone just to get life text right now. It’s like you said because of apples ecosystem it’s just amazing to work with all your Apple products together. I mean I get it it’s always nice to have stuff like that and if I wouldn’t be so in love with Apple product and the iPhone I would definitely go buy an android. But I just like Apple so much that I don’t mind waiting for something longer. I just always hate fight between android phones and iOS phones. That android had it first and apples just copying it and stuff like that. In the end of the day it’s the persons decision what to buy or not to buy so if the person it’s okay with waiting for new features then let them. But if a person says no I want the newest features right away then yes go and buy an android phone you like and have all the new features. And that’s it yeah that’s what people should say/do. I think I kind of slipped off topic. But i just wanted to say that. so thank you for reading. If someone even does. have a nice day 😅 goodbye 🥰

This is relying too much an the narrative that you have all the products to justify this excuse. It isn't hard to add features that work and integrate them deeper, but fuchsia is a push towards that with their smart home devices. The thing is features sell and honestly there's a distinct lineage of stagnation that has acted as a detriment to sales where pure innovation has been a selling point. Iphones hardly do widgets better, for example- in most cases being worse and limited.
